Vintage Keys. Trying to unlock my inspiration.

To you, these may seem dirty, old and useless. To me, I see a lamp shade, window dressing or a wind chime. The sound that the keys make is simply beautiful. I threw the glass beads in with them one day and instantly thought of light reflecting through the keys and crystals to create patterns. How to get the patterns, light and sound all together is the conundrum.
I cant wait to make up my mind which. I think I am having more fun mulling over the possibilities

Creativity counts and can't wait to see what masterpiece you could come up with it! =) I'll make sure I get to know the result by following you though.

I wandered over from the forums. Your intro made me smile, and anyone that can do that gets my attention.
Have had a wander around and was most excited to see a reference to Narre Warren! Being a West Gippsland/Latrobe Valley girl, it certainly got my attention.
Live in NQ these days {and thank my lucky stars eveyr day for it} but I love getting home now and again.
I'll be back later for more of a look if you don't mind?
Loved this post btw...created
some wonderful images in my head. I was going to say sounds then thought you may consider me some sort of fruit cake if I said I had noises in my head!
*wink*

Hi Melanie - I, too, love old keys. I just ran across one today that my husband found on a job site (we do excavation). I looked at it and thought how I should do something with it. I'll have to see what you do. Maybe it will be me some new ideas.

salina - I gave up on Lovli, it appears to be abandoned by its creators but that you for trying to help.
Ching ya - Not sure if it will be a masterpiece but it is certainly a piece I am obsessing over atm:)

Moe - are you from Moe originally? Thanks for stopping by and you are more than welcome back. I look froward to seeing you:) is NQ North Queensland? What a contrast from Gippsland if it is.

Stitching at Stone Cottage - I have already changed my mind and am off on another idea. What have I started for myself?

Barbara - I can imagine all kinds of weird things that you would find excavating. I can get lost in thought sometimes wondering what these key hid from the world. Where is its lock? I wonder what your lone key protected...
