A little bit alot miffed

Oh hi there. OK, so I am walking down the street to my house and it is the 19th of November and what do you think I saw.... some one, who is working of an entirely different calendar to me, has all of their xmas decorations , tree and lights up..... I don't know why but that bugs me.

I just walked for an hour by the way so everything bugs me. I totally and absolutely hate exercise.

Wish I was more like my friend Aisha who loves exercise and was so fit when I last saw her and clearly doesn't consume the quantity of carbs that I do....must keep walking....... be back later with On My Desk.

I think waiting till Nov 19 showed remarkable restraint.
LOL!
Somebody up the road is already chewing thru all of Sydneys power supply with thier grand display that went up in October.....I figure it must be thier first christmas in the 'new' house to put such a show on - it will certinally keep thier neighbors awake at night LOL

I've seen a few houses in my area with all of their lights and decorations up. It is still NOVEMBER on my calendar last time I checked!

My neighbor has their "light show" up on their lawn for a couple of weeks now, and at first I was kind of thinking, how silly, but they seem to be having fun doing it. It is jarring to see wreaths this early, though before Thanksgiving (I'm in the US).

Lavender - I reckon that kind of wastage of electricity will be outlawed soo, like washing your car has become.

CurlyPops - Maybe we are late and should snap to it and get those decorations up quick smart? ....

Pink Ink. my husband defended our neighbours saying its a tradition in US to decorate after Thanks Giving. We also celebrate Thanksgiving because he is from Ohio and I want to keep some traditions for our son. I reminded him a. Thanks giving is 2 weeks away and b. Aussies dont do Thanksgiving.

In conclusion
In a time of awareness and with the massive ad campaigns that tell us to TURN OFF THAT LIGHT. I guess it's ok to drain our resources for a tradition. ouch, dont i sound grumpy:)
